Access to patient communications is restricted to authorized personnel according to their responsibilities and applicable privacy requirements.

Patients may communicate with our team through the Spruce application or traditional SMS text messaging. Standard SMS and email may not provide the same level of privacy protection as secure messaging within the Spruce platform.

Patients are encouraged to use designated secure communication channels when sharing sensitive medical information.

PAYMENT PROCESSING AND STORED PAYMENT METHODS

Paragond utilizes Stripe, a third-party payment processing provider, to facilitate payments for healthcare services, appointments, laboratory testing, medications, memberships, and other authorized charges.

Payment information may include billing details, transaction history, and payment methods collected, processed, or stored through Stripe.

With patient authorization, payment methods may be securely retained for future transactions, including recurring membership payments and other charges permitted under applicable billing agreements.

Authorized Paragond personnel may initiate payments using stored payment methods in accordance with patient authorizations and established billing policies.

Stripe processes payment information according to its applicable privacy and security practices. 

Paragond seeks to limit information shared with payment processors to what is reasonably necessary for billing and payment administration.
